The marebond was founded in 2008 and its main purpose lies in promoting the breeding of a high-quality and excellent Friesian horse breed, whereby the knowledge and experience of the mareholders can be bundled and exchanged.

The objective of BMFR
BMFR aims to bring mareholders closer together in order to exchange more information easily. Company visits to (top)breeders within the Friesian breeding, various Symposia, information evenings, meet and greets etc prove to be an unique opportunity for doing so.
Another goal of the BMFR is to represent the interest of mareholders in a variety of breeding areas. This will be done in close consultation with all sorts of other breeding associations, study clubs, stallion owners and representatives of the KFPS.
